Cypress Bayou Reservoir and Black Bayou Reservoir are popular sites for boating, water-skiing, fishing and swimming in Northwest Louisiana.

Both bodies of water are known for their numerous species of fish. Bass, crappie and catfish are among the most popular. Natural features such as coves, stumps and lily pad fields create favorable conditions for anglers. Boat launch ramps are located along the shorelines as well as in the nearby Cypress Black Bayou Recreational Area.

The Cypress Black Bayou Recreational Area is an 84-acre site that features:
